Description
Matthews Southern Comfort founder member Iain Matthews and their lead guitarist BJ Baartmans teamed up over the Covid 19 lockdown to write ten songs that will be released in the form of the album 'Distant Chatter'
and a soulful hook delivered by Dionne Knighton
You Might be Happy Someday is a smeared window into the (kindly) cynical thoughts of a romantic misanthrope
There's even a little pastiche of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" on "Queen Phyllis Of Colchester" - Newell led the song in with a one-finger piano motif
released on July 23
